Sometimes all we need is a moment. A moment to take in the sun, be at rest and not rush off to the next moment.
I started out with this painting wanting to render an image of Elly Mayday but after sifting through hundreds of professional shots of her, it was this one that made me stop and decide that I was going to render a painting of a mood, a moment, a feeling. It is a wonderful bonus that it happens to be Elly projecting the message.
